Anna Kaltcheva, a native of Bulgaria, began her music education at age three.  At age six she was enrolled in “Christina Morfova” School of Music, Bulgaria, where she took classes such as music theory, ear training, music history and piano lessons.  Her performing career started at an early age and she gave her first solo recital at age thirteen.  Ms. Kaltcheva had participated in several competitions, master classes and recitals throughout the country and at age fifteen she was chosen to perform with the Stara Zagora Symphony.

Ms. Kaltcheva moved to the United States in 1998.  She continued her education as a classical pianist with music and academic scholarships at Notre Dame de Namur University, California, majoring in Piano Performance under the guidance of Prof. Thomas La Ratta.  During her freshman year she gave her first solo recital in the United States, was a winner in Young Artist Awards Competition, San Jose, California and was a faculty member at Cañada College, Redwood City, California, where she accompanied and coached voice students.  In 2002 she was chosen as one of the winners of the Peninsula Symphony Auxiliary Music Merit Award.  Ms. Kaltcheva has appeared as a solo performer as well as an instrumental and voice collaborator at recitals, master classes and competitions.  In 2006 Anna Kaltcheva was accepted at Manhattan School of Music, New York City, where she continued her graduate studies in Classical Piano Performance under the guidance of Dr. Arkady Aronov.

Anna Kaltcheva holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from Notre Dame de Namur University, California and graduated Summa Cum Laude, and a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from Manhattan School of Music, New York City.  She has taught piano to students at all ages and has successfully managed her own teaching studio for the past twenty one years.  Currently residing in New York City, Ms. Kaltcheva continues her music career in both education and piano performance.
